Recreating A Champion
The Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle which Valentino Rossi rode to the MotoGP class championship in 2009 will soon be available as a Tamiya 1/12 Scale Motorcycle Series model. Thorough research means this model will be an authentic scale representation of the actual bike. Furthermore, fans can look forward to a highly-detailed rider figure, currently under development, which reproduces Valentino Rossi's riding form. About the Model
The Fiat Yamaha Team's YZR-M1 machines took a 1-2 finish at the top of the rider standings for the 2009 MotoGP season. This is the first assembly kit of this 800cc MotoGP bike and all the parts are newly designed. To enable fans to display their model in cornering stance with the rider figure, different parts for the suspension will be included. High-quality decals will depict Valention Rossi's No.46 machine as well as Jorge Lorenzo's No.99 machine. Compare it with the currently available YZR-M1 '05 model to see the evolution of this ultimate racing motorcycle.
